Welcome to City Kids! Our children's ministry is a place where each child is known, treasured and joyfully engaged to know and experience God's love for us through Christ. We are a community of children, parents and volunteers that love God, love each other and love the city of Houston.
The nursery opens at 10:15 AM and is a caring, safe environment where children hear songs and Bible stories about the love of Christ.
Children attend the first part of the worship service with their parents, and once they are dismissed, are escorted to Children's Worship. Children's Worship is a time of high-energy music, skits and teaching.
Following worship, Pre-K through third graders will break out into small groups designed to encourage them to apply what they have learned with their friends.
Our 4th and 5th grade class is going through the Bible chronologically and memorizing scripture. We maintain a focus on strengthening friendships while growing in understanding of the Bible.
Each child (infant - 3rd Grade) needs to be checked-in using our electronic system every Sunday prior to attending the worship service. Check-in begins at 10:00 AM at the Children's Ministry Welcome Table.
