Our band, Civic Club, is a collection of independent writers and musicians gathered together to lead dynamic worship at City Church. Experience the music on Sundays at House of Blues at 10:30 AM.
The Worship Arts ministry activates the mission of City Church,
to 'bring beauty to broken places,' in a vital way;
by seeking to immerse in, interact with,
and empower the local arts and culture.

Joy Hanna is the Worship Arts Resident at City Church and helps lead the worship services each week. Joy felt called into a music ministry at the early age of eleven when she started writing songs. She then began leading worship for her church in Virginia, recording her original songs and touring. Joy graduated from Liberty University and served on staff as a worship leader at McLean Bible Church for two years before she and her husband, Andrew, moved to Houston. Joy continues to write songs and use her voice to illuminate the liberating truth of God’s Word. You can hear her music at joyhanna.com.
