The Parables of Jesus

Jesus was arguably the greatest story teller ever. This series examines a collection of his stories or parables, which comprise roughly one third of his teaching in the Gospels. Jesus uses his stories to cast a vision for what it looks like to inhabit the city of God while living in the cities of this world. Parables have the capacity to carry multiple layers of truth, some of which is accessible to the larger crowd, but the full meaning is grasped by those who embrace the truth and follow Jesus.
